what if i want to cancel my subscription?

you can cancel your subscription at any time (unless booked for a promotional offer) if you'd like to opt out. however, we recommend giving this practice and showing up for yourself 3-6 months to begin to see what the effects of what a consistent practice looks like. healing takes time. once you cancel, you will lose access to all meditation videos, audio meditations, recorded communal dialogue/group coaching sessions, exclusive content, and the private community. memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

can I use my mobile phone?

hey sis! our new platform makes it much easier for you to access all the offerings of our community and resources from whichever device you'd like to use. simply log-in with your username and password and enjoy all the perks our membership has to offer.

what if i miss a session? will it be recorded?

the good news is as long as you're subscribed to our platform, you'll have access to all the videos and meditations allotted to your plan. our group coaching/communal dialogue sessions are live and will be recorded and uploaded to our portal so you can view them any time. and most noteworthy, they do not expire!

what is breathwork?

breathwork is an active meditation that helps reframe the nervous system’s response to stress, anxiety, and decreases the effects of trauma by activating the parasympathetic nervous system (the part of the nervous system that governs rest and digestion). get ready to deepen your inhales and lessen your anxiety and stress with us sis.

i've never done breathwork before. how do i know this is good for me?

most women in our community were introduced to breathwork through our work. we facilitate this active meditative technique in a way that's accessible and easy to comprehend. if you can inhale and exhale, you can do this work.

please note that this work is not meant to replace for individual therapy and that we recommend getting permission from your physician if this work is right for you.

what if I can't afford a subscription?

we offer a scholarship to access our sunday balm® membership for those experiencing financial hardship.

we received a high volume of scholarship applications, and we continue to review them. due to the high volume of applicants, our application is currently closed. please check back for updates.

will there be individual classes like before?

we're glad you've been with us for a while sis! but we are no longer offering individual classes. why? in short, we want to encourage consistency and the development of a practice to better the health outcomes of the Black women we serve. the trauma, limited beliefs, and patterns you've developed over the years will take equal and consistent investment into your unlearning, undoing and healing journey. our organization wants to help lead Black women who are ready to show up for themselves, even when the process gets hard. we've led monthly individual classes before and with that, have learned so much that has influenced the creation of our current offering and platform. there are no one-stop, quick fixes to healing and to get to the place we wish to be, dedication is required. we hope you allow us to make space for you on this journey!

who are the instructors and facilitators?

The breathwork introduced in the platform is facilitated by or facilitated under the guidance of Jasmine Marie, CEO & Founder of black girls breathing®. She is a certified, trauma-informed breathwork facilitator with experience holding space for thousands. She's brought this work to a range of organizations and clients from Harvard Business School, Facebook, Twitter, Estee Lauder Companies, Under Armour and juvenile detention centers. Her work has been featured in Oprah Magazine, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, The Cut, Good Morning America, Wall Street Journal, Nylon Magazine, Black Enterprise amongst others. But most importantly, she's dedicated her work and platform to healing Black women and impacting 1 Million by 2025.

Communal dialogue and group coaching sessions are led by licensed mental health therapists (bgb mental health coaches) with experience working with under-resourced and under-served communities.
